Brooklyn-Queens Expressway Corridor Vision

New York City is moving forward to fix the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) in Brooklyn. Throughout this  process, NYC Department of Transportation will continue with urgent repairs to the Atlantic-to-Sands section to ensure it remains safe. The Adams administration is committed to reconnecting Brooklyn communities divided by the BQE that experience increased noise and air pollution, while also having limited access to jobs and other needed resources.

Bay Ridge Community Development Center is proud to be partnering with the NYC Department of Transportation to advise on, and improve transparency around, the public engagement process in a preliminary plan to fix a section of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
